Re: THIS is what it isKillette I was doing fine. I was accepting the fact that we played another horrible game, and was convincing myself that it wouldn't happen again.

Re: THIS is what it isTrue loyalty is shown when the chip are down. So wouldn't this definitely be the time for "homer glasses" more than when we are 12-4?

Re: THIS is what it isResponsibility and fault are two different things. You want him to follow them home and make sure they study the playbook before they go to bed and tuck them in? I am not saying you are wrong bc I have no clue but to say it is all on one guy? Well I have seen too much non execution to buy that. I think he is ultimately responsible for it yes but the players need to step up big time. I mean a professional that needs to go back to basics on tackling?!?!?!? This is just getting embarrassing. |

Re: THIS is what it isYou were on the Army like me...NCO's are responsible for their soldiers discipline and performance. If the guy is doing something wrong you take aimmediate appropiate action to fix the problem.

Re: THIS is what it isYeah that is where I am coming from it is the NCOs responsibility but that does not take the fault away from the solider IMO. |

Re: THIS is what it isTake the humiliation of the Az game...take one respected vet (#90) saying that the organization has stunted his growth as a player and that he no longer want to be a part of such an organization...and you have the makings of a team that see's the 12-4 of '08 as a flux...this team doesn't believe in itself and is stuck in a losers attitude (not to the man, but as a team at large)...teams with a lossing self-concept find ways to beat themselves and well...this team has done that over the preseason and regular season...Winning is the fix...but to do so they must redefine themselves as a physical keep-on-pounding offense---a physical hit you in the mouth over and over again tunrover creating D and a team who simply is not going to kill it self by playing poorly on ST...think they will get to 3-3 if they are able to accomplish these things...and if they can get to 3-3 and make some breaks happen the rest of the way...plus beat up NO & Atl...anything could happen...I still believe the south division winner could very well be a 9-7 team when all the dust finally settles.... |
