Whatever happen to these two definitions of a fumble:

1. Ground cannot cause a fumble
2. Player is downed by contact if any part of there body is on the ground while a def player is in contact with the possessor of the ball.

He was being sarcastic.  The ground not causing a fumble rule might have been changed as it was brought up several times but the other most definitely not.

I think they are being overly cautious, but I still worry it is serious.  Is this the reason they drafted Goodson?  They were concerned about Stewie's health?  I love Stewart and hope he can batter defenses for many years but I constantly worry about bruising backs like him.
