Actually we always play them pretty close-this year won't be any exception. Win? Probably not. The reason we don't do the exotic formations for receivers is because of the lack of confidence in Jake and the O line. Remember, our success at the run game is somewhat new to this franchise and only started late last season then pummeled to the ground first 4 games this year. We usually only activate like 3-4 receivers each game which tells you. And very rarely do you even see the 3rd receiver. We will run TE sets with 2 plenty and even run a third out for a change. Mostly that is for blocking schemes though. But I agree run more 3-4 sets wideout and they have to respect something. Jake should be better at the fast dump or slant out route than he is. He can get rid of the screen to Smitty pretty good, why not translate into other short/quick sets?

Yeah I know Mark Jones didnt work for us this year but he found a spot with Tenn again I noticed yesterday. How does that work? We dont give him 2 weeks to heal up and get better and let Tenn take him? Front office is slippin or trippin one. Death to our special teams!! These guys need an overhaul.

STILL wish we would have taken Brandon Tate out of UNC for if nothing else kr's and pr's...and maybe could have worked his way into a wr spot....and for all the HEEL haters and people running down my boy Hakeem Nicks...thought the Giants lost yesterday he had a great day and is strating to find his way in the system...so much for him being a bust...wish Panthers had him to keep D's from dbl teaming SS...now that would be exciting twosome and maybe Moore also...woooo you talkin bout speed...man...let matt moore throw to them..yessss...o well wishful thinking.
