Re: Our Rushing D last nighti think that those 6, or so, runs were the biggest red flag about our holes in run d. those are the runs that made the difference last night and will make a difference in the regular season. i guess we are realizing how important kemo was. also, when dameion lewis missed the game at the giants last year, they killed us up the middle then too. |

Re: Our Rushing D last nightYeah but like I was saying every single one of those runs was to the outside. The DTs had little to do with stopping them. |

Re: Our Rushing D last nightTo an extent that is true, but the there were several plays when 1 o-lineman was free to block a LB because there were no one up front to commanding a double team. If Kemo had been 1-on-1 we would have stopped that run for a loss. example: on that Bradshaw TD the Center blew up Lewis, the LT took peppers, the LG came free and ran up between the RT and RG to block beason and there was clear room for Bradshaw. I think you can see what i'm talking about in the highlights. |

Re: Our Rushing D last nightThis whole no DT and subsequently poor run D thing is just the catalyst the makes it so we don't get our first back to back winning seasons..... :( |
