Next year...Young/PeppersOk, I'm still a big Jake supporter but also know there is a need to develop someone this year or next year so I was thinking. A perfect situation for both Tennessee and us would be Vince Young for Julius Peppers. If we were crazy enough to tag him again and he wanted to go to the Titans (still not sure which other 3 teams he wanted) it would be a great situation for everyone. We would get a quality qb who needs a fresh start and they get a bum DE who takes every other play off but can connect for 10+ sacks. Vince will be good, he just needs a fresh start. I would be willing to give up draft picks if needed/no trade. What ya think? |

Re: Next year...Young/PeppersI wouldn't trade a proven DE for a QB that can't tell a WR from a DB. We don't need a QB that can run with the football because we have the best RB duo in the league to do that. We need a pocket passing QB with acuracy and great decision making skills. Young has neither of those qualities. |

Re: Next year...Young/PeppersAt least that leap meant something. Carr always looks good in the preseason. We still got 2 sacks on the guy LMAO. I would love to watch him take over for Eli a couple of games durring the season and watch the fan rip that guy a new one. |
