A question to Jake fans

Let me start off by saying that I have been a big Jake supporter even during this season. With that out of the way I would like to see how all of the Delhomme nuthuggers are going to spin this like this wasn't Jake's fault. Jake had plenty of time to complete that pass to Smith over the middle but still threw it over Smitty's head and the last int in the 4th quarter.

Re: A question to Jake fans

No DelHommer is going to step up for that beat down. LOL

I'll simply say, as a person I like Jake but as a QB he was probably done after the bye week last year. He simply cannot get the job done and in the Not For Long League, that means it's time for someone else to step up.

Re: A question to Jake fans

I'm pretty sure you're not going to get too many adamant Jake defenders right now(Unless Fox creates an account on the Growl).

I'm sure Jake is a good guy, likable(off the field) but it's starting to become sickening the way that he and his coach can sit in these press conferences blaming execution as the problem. Turning a blind eye to how bad they are as player and coach.

I for one can't support incompetence. I will always support the team as a whole, but if there is a problem, it's got to be fixed.(And I WILL bitch about it)

Re: A question to Jake fans

I love the guy.  I'll never forget that awesome game when he stepped in for Rodney Peete and beat Tampa Bay, back when they were a powerhouse, in their own house  in the second half.  Of course, that's not to mention the 2003 season. It's time to move on, though.  He's done.
