When you spin it like that, no its not, but when you look at it in the context of having success in the past (emphasis on 'in the past') doesn't mean you will have success in the present.  Just because you were good doesn't mean you still are good.

I mean, look at Seifert, He used to be a good coach, won a superbowl or two, then he took over and was garbage, he ruined this team.

No Pete Carroll, no Cowher, no Shannahan, no Schottenheimer, and no Gruden. We can be the team we want to be with John Fox and company. I'm still on the fence about Jeff Davidson, but for sure, I really dislike his panic-button mentality when we're behind. No QB we have or will have should ever have to air it out more than 25 times a game with the running attack we have. We're built to beat the opposing DEF into absolute submission ON THE GROUND. There is no Peyton Manning here, no Tom Brady, and sure as he11 no spread offense. Throwing 40+ times in a game, losing or not, should be grounds for firing Davidson's a$$ if anybodys.

Ok.  IF Jerry Richardson were to fire John Fox...IF...I'm leaning toward Gruden.  Mostly because of his passion for our team.  Cowher becomes less appealing every year that he sits out.  He also doesn't seem to be too much of a departure from Fox.

I like Fox.  I still have faith in him.  He has the lockerroom on lock down and generally speaking does a pretty consistent job.

I think Cowher could/would be our GM.
