Re: New Head Coach??

Yes because of his (Cowher) experience at making those types of decisions right?

If we can get more than six wins I say keep Fox and get a QB in the draft.
I would agree with this but Hurney/Fox have never drafted a rookie QB high in the draft and that is your best chance at getting a great  QB.  I like Russ Grimm in Arizona.  He was on the short list to replace Cowher and didn't get the job.  He would demand a great o-line and a very tough team.  Mike Mularkey is interestng too as is greg williams.

Re: New Head Coach??

Food for thought:

Danny Morrison, our new president was the AD at TCU.

TCU's current coach, Gary Patterson, is having great success.

He's never coached at the professional level, and I admittedly don't know much about TCU (I don't follow college sports too much), but he might follow his buddy from TCU if a vacancy happens to open here in Carolina....

Re: New Head Coach??

Well let me enlighten you-that would be a HUGE mistake. TCU never plays anyone. I think they play 1 or maybe 2 top 25 BCS teams this year so their success is not that big a deal yet (kinda like Boise State every year). The last thing we need is someone coming in here with no professional experience. He could start out as a coordinator maybe but not HC! Plus TCU don't exactly pump out big players year after year. There have been a few but not like Florida, FSU, LSU, or USC. If nothing else, get Cowher. At least he's funny and in the players faces.
