Re: For the Love. Think People Think.Yeah I almost forgot in my earlier post to say I don't think Cowher is a fit. I would want the next Cowher not old Cowher. Which Bill Parcells was great, the first one with the giants. He was good at other stops but he didn't win the

Re: For the Love. Think People Think.should the team change HC's in the near future...Samoria Mike Singletary....he'll be grown experieince-wise w/SF...(just a feeliing he will bring them back to a level of respectability and playoff calibur/contending play-so he may not have the need to leave...although SF is certainly not the organization top-to-bootum it was 10-15-20 yrs ago...Carolina is a superior organization---so he may want to leave)...he does not spit but he never-ever blinks...and that is just plan scary! |

Re: For the Love. Think People Think.Yeah, when Singletary took over last year I thought he might be good. I also think Russ Grimm the o-line/asst head coach in AZ from the steelers might be a good candidate too. I do tend to prefer defensive guys but a tough guy is good and Grimm was tough. |

Re: For the Love. Think People Think.I couldnt agree more. The talent is still here for another good run this year, so you'd have to think that if we fall short of anything but a divisional playoff win, that Richardson will send him on his way. |

Re: For the Love. Think People Think.Let me break down Cowher's & Fox's coaching stats Bill Cowher: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/c … owhBi0.htm Bill Cowher's offenses have always sucked?? His offense finished in the top 15 ten times in 15 years and 16th once (7 years Cowhers O finished in the top 10). After 15 years, Cowher finished 59 games over .500 & he was able to produce back to back winning seasons- 6 in a row at one point. You think he would set our Defense back for a couple years??- well how bout this: in 15 seasons his Defense finished in the top 10 twelve times! The lowest it finished was 13th, and it finished in the top 3 six times!! I think I would enjoy that "new system change" you mentioned. Let's not forget his 9 Division titles. John Fox: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/c … oxxJo0.htm In 7 seasons Fox's Offense has finished in the top 10 once!! & in the top 16 three times. Whose offense has always sucked??- Yeah you might wanna check your stats. His defense has finished in the top 10 four times in 7 seasons including 2 top 5s. Sounds good but the last 2 years the D has finished 16th and 18th respectfully. Fox has yet to produce back to back winning seasons. After 7 years Fox is at just 14 games over .500 Bill Cowher's offense averaged finishing better than 62% of other offenses in the league, Fox's Offense is at better than 38% of Offenses in the league. Cowher's offense doesn't seem to sucky now does it? He never had a Steve Smith on his team on top of that. Not to mention he won a Super Bowl. Now, I know it took him a while to do it, but he still has one and Fox doesnt, sh** Fox can't even win 9 games 2 years in a row. How would this not be an upgrade?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! |

Re: For the Love. Think People Think.Yeah your right, Richardson acts like he's scared to do it. A coaching change can be good sometimes, and it will be when one happens for the Panthers. |
