Sometimes changes are not so good. Here we are flipping out and trying to figure out when, where, and why Jake went south so fast. Got me thinking about it also but, no ideas hit me... Maybe!!! he is washed up or maybe he is thinking too much but, I could not center on what it was.

Re: Sometimes changes are not so good.Wow, i never thought about it but Rip is the new QB coach. this is his first year here. This could actually be the root of the problem... Trying to change a starters thorwing motion is crazy, you do that maybe with a backup so they can get used to it... Thanks for sharing this, food for thought for sure... |

Re: Sometimes changes are not so good. That's an interesting concept I almost forgot Jake had a new QB coach that has been monkeying with his "fundamentals". Why would you mess with a veteran QB thats obviously set in his ways? Would anyone tell Phillip Rivers to stop throwing the football like a shot-putt? Hell no because it works for HIM. Maybe its his attempt to bring some of Cleveland's winning ways to

Re: Sometimes changes are not so good.I am just glad I wasn't the only one who thought this was strange. I never understood how do you teach someone who made it into the NFL how to throw the ball better, they wouldn't be here if what they did didn't work.

Re: Sometimes changes are not so good.Valid point I couldn't agree more. This might also explain some of why Fox has had such a tolerance for the poor play (yeah I know about the contract extension) but he might understand that his once pro bowl QB has been tinkered with and effectively broken. |
