Thank you.  If our RECEIVERS do THEIR JOB, Jake looks like a hero with 250-300 yards passing, high completion %, and 2 TD/0 INTs.  That's a helluva game against a defense that is #1 in takeaways.

BTW, Stewart had an AWEFUL game.

13 carries for 24 yards?  It wasn't the O-Line's fault.  The same line blocked for D-Will to get 150 yards/2TDs.  Granted 66 came on one play, but he consistently did a better job at reading the holes.  Stewart made 1 good run that got us to the 1 yard line, but terrible play calling, having to call the timeout, and a dropped TD pass to Williams busted a drive that could have put a dagger in the Saints.

Some of the dumbest comments I have seen on this forum. Some of you blame Jake whatever happens! Get this through you thick skulls- Jake does what the coaches tell him. Blame Davidson for getting so conservative in the thied quarter. Blame Fox for not getting more aggresive in playcalling. Blame receivers who can't hold onto balls.

Again--my point of rebuttal exactly.  I came away from this game thinking a few thoughts:

1)  John Fox's must give terrible half time speeches.  Every game, the 3rd quarter kills us.  We come out flat, give up big plays, and have little to no offense

2)  Davidson's play calls are predictable.  We started the game with some flair but after that, it was easy for the Saints to see what we were doing.

3)  Coaching...those first 2 guys...they suck.  We were 3-4.  No need to be that conservative with a lead against a top offense that we KNOW can score quickly.  You have to roll the dice on Jake.  I don't think he made 1 questionable pass all day long.  Not one time was I saying to myself, "please don't be a pick!!!"  60-40 run to pass is Panthers/Delhomme football.  This 80-20 crap doesn't work against a team that can score back on you.  Jake has improved in every game this year passing the ball and making decisions.  Watch the tape.  I wish our coaches would.

4)  The entire team just sucks.  There is no leader.  No emotion.  No heart.  Just when I think someone with heart is stepping up (Peppers) he lets me down by practically going to sleep on every play.

5)  I dunno what happened to my 12-4 Panthers.  Honestly I think it starts with coaching.  No one is buying into Fox's system anymore and it's showing on the field.  A new, fresh coach and system on this exact same team would show drastic changes in our record.

Attitude reflects leadership.  Our attitude sucks and our leader is John Fox.
