JAKE is the greatest QB in the history of the NFL....

There...I'm just gonna put that for all you folks that want to run down anyone who might question his skills or lack there of nowadays...and O yea Fox is the diabolical genius...for knowing what he has with Jake when all the rest of us obviously dont....

and for whoever does the disabling of posts around here when someone questions a player....kinda funny actually when over 90% of the Panthers fans are just plain ready to get rid of Delhomme...another 8% dont care as long as we can run the ball and the other 2% are those awesome Jake supporters that talk about how great he is as long as he doesnt have a TO of any sort...now let him throw 3 per game and lose 2 fumbles and have a 56 QB rating and they will disappear until he has a decent game 8 months later and they can start in on the Jake didnt lose this game everyone else did....blah blah blah...

The entire team is tired of playing with Jake....they may like him as do I,but....that aint winning and players want a guy they can believe in and they dont believe in Jake...this is what I mean by Jake lost even todays game...if you cant understand that maybe its more of a comprehension issue than a football one.....

BTW...wanna see what a "REAL" QB does?...on the left is Jake on the right is Brees....ones team is 8-0 the other team is well....US...

56.4 QB Rating 107.6
120/209 Comp./Att. 157/230
57.4 Completion % 68.3
1188 Passing Yards 1928
5.68 Yards/Attempt 8.38
169.7 Yards/Game 275.4
64/28.4 1st Downs/Pct. 94/39.0
5/2.4 TDs/TD % 16/7.0
14/6.7 Ints/Int % 6/2.6
16/139 Sacked/Lost 11/78
2 300 Yard Games 4
3/2 Fumbles/Lost 5/3

so keep on believing that Jake is the answer to this teams problems and that his play doesnt affect the outcomes of games even on days where he doesnt do anyhting to LOSE the game but he doesnt do anything to WIN the games either.

Re: JAKE is the greatest QB in the history of the NFL....

how do you know that the team is tired of jake? your not in the locker room, you dont have anything to go on with them not having any "faith" in him so in turn they lose the football game. That doesnt make any sense to me personally. What about the game last week against the cardinals? they must have had HUGE amounts of faith in him last week. So in turn the force that spreads through Delhomme in turn makes everyone play better because jake delhomme has some magical element to him that brings talent to the team when people believe in him. HA! The posts on the site are starting to sound about as rediculous as what I just wrote. nothing but fiction in a lot of these posts.

Us as fans have no idea what the feelings are toward Delhomme is inside the organization. Players come on in front of the media saying jake has their support. So it doesnt seem like there is no faith. While you compare Jake the Bree's and by saying the Jake isn't as a good as Bree's thats a totally justified argument one that not many people can argue against. But in saying that a Bree's, Brady, And Manning only come along a few years and the past few years with us have been good with jake as QB, so after this season we need to get a new QB everone realizes that but like I have said and many other people have said, it's not always his fault, and hes here for the rest of the year so just sit back and accept the thing you can not control

Re: JAKE is the greatest QB in the history of the NFL....

After yesterday I think it has become all but clear that the Coaches have lost faith in Delhomme's ability.  On our own 15yd line on a 3rd and 8 we opted to run the ball instead of have Delhomme pass for a first down.  I know we are a running team, but any team that has faith in their QB is going to put that on the shoulders of the QB and not the RB.  We play good enough in every phase of the game except passing. If any defense feared our ability to have an effective passing game, we could very well be a top 5 team.  I love Delhomme and think he is a great leader and team player, but he just doesn't seem to have the ability to get it done anymore.

but i see this as a bigger mistake in coaching not having him throw the ball in these cases, when he was asked to throw the ball yesterday he did pretty well, especially the one drive that he pretty much did nothing but pass on. I like Delhomme too and feel that he is starting to lose his stuff but I get awful tired of people putting ever piece of blame on him as to why were so predictable or the play calling

Re: JAKE is the greatest QB in the history of the NFL....

Can we start the Julius Peppers thread too? Because he is a crock as well. He disappeared once again yesterday like I knew he would. It's sad that we knew that the saints knew we were running every play. Is this the twilight zone? Does anyone honestly think we can do this week in and week out? Just running the ball down every team's throat? It can work sometimes but not every week. As I said last week, we have to be two-dimensional and pass at least some. Jake is high, behind, to the left, short and too hard. Then he tries to act like it's the receivers every time. Throwing his arms in the air is getting tiresome.
