Showed good pocket awareness and made good decisins. Scrambled when he had to. Threw the ball away when he needed to.    No int. No sacks. (Good job by the OLine).
Numbers might not be all that impressive but is exactly what we need to compliment our run game.

To be honest this is all we need from JD that and for most of his completions to be on third down for first downs.  I mean lets be honest and fair for a second JD even before his issues only got a few throws here and there.  Qbing is all about getting into rhythm and let's face it run run run run throw is not the best way to help your passing game find its pace.  But he does throw for first downs for the majority of his passes.  Remember when he was doing "horrible" last year he was quietly leading the entire NFL in longest avg yards per completion.

Game ball goes to Baker for his amazing tackle to save a TD that pushed the runner about five yards in the air.  (careful with that or else someone will find out about the HGH dude!)

My game ball goes to Smitty. He had 2 great touchdowns (I'm glad to see a passing game in Carolina again). I was also impressed that he held on to the ball after injuring himself on that 2nd TD.

Whoa nelly, I dont think I could call it a "passing game again". He did enough to survive us to Thursday. I'm afraid what is happening here is we are being brainwashed into thinking it is acceptible to keep JD around. He didn't do anything to lose this one but he didn't do anything to win it either. Mediocrity is not acceptible in my book. If he cannot be to his old form, at least, he still needs to go! I saw more players apparently yelling at Davidson too, not good.
