rather than punting the ball am saying that NE served up an easier W for Indy...they only had to drive the ball 29 yds rather that 50-60-70...it would be great Fortune for Carolina should NE or any other team remaining on the schedule to serve up this type of winning opportunity...Indy of all teams get this sort of unbelievable break/opportunity...LMAO but ouch...the Panthers could use such a break, but probably will not have such a gift as was handed to Indy...

I personally thought that it was a great call by Bellicheat, it just up to the personnel on the field to come up with the first down.  They didn't give Indy anything.  The Indy offense earned this W with the two TD drives in under two minutes, and playing stiff defense towards the end of the fouth quarter.

i will say that Indy did indeed stop NE on the 4th & 1...and that NE choose to give them the opp to do so & with that a very short field of 29 yds....Ne could have choosen to punt and made life for Manning and Co a bit more challenging...assuming of course that the NE punt cover crew did a good job...the odds of scoring a td from the +29 yd line are significantly better/much higher than are the odds for having to drive the ball 55-60-65-70 yds for a td...NE SERVED UP A SHORT FIELD FOR THE COLTS AND THUS A MUCH HIGHER % OF A TD SCORING DRIVE!!!!

I agree.  I thought they got the first down IMO.  Every angle I have seen is close but with the forward progress rule then I say it is no doubt a first down.  I like the call.
