So after looking at what teams are doing and where we stand, I am convinced we will not make the playoffs.  This is funny bc we stand a better chance of making the playoffs now than when we were 2-4 and I thought then that we would still.  The reason I say this now is bc of the fact that we will have to rely on the wildcard berth without a doubt, and we would need some help.  Yes it is still early but we would need quite a few teams to lose currently we are in 10th.  We do not own any outright tie breakers over the teams ahead of us (although we could still over the Giants).  We could pray the 49ers beat out the Cards for the division (as we own a tie breaker over them) and that we beat the Giants and they do not win their division or that someone beats out Minn and then we beat them and own the tie breaker bc of that.  But this is a very long shot.  As it stands we need at least four teams to finish with a record below us to for sure lock up a playoff spot (as the only one we could get a tie breaker on is the Giants if we beat them when we play).  This is assuming the teams below us currently stay below us.  There is just too much if this then and so on.  Even if we were to win out we would be at best 11-5 and a few of the teams left could be that (even the Giants but we would own the tiebreaker.  There just seems to be waaaaay too many things in play to even realistically think we can do it.  If we had won against Buffalo or NO as we should have (either one) and we are a LOT better off.

Not to mention all the injuries and so on.
