running gameCan anyone explain to me why we have 1st and goal in the first half (on the 6 I think) and pass 3 times? We got a FG. Of course!! I understand that we need to be able to pass, but let's face the facts...we run better than we pass. I don't understand the play calling....and not just this game. |

Re: running gamecould not agree more...why abandon your identity of being a physical in your face & down your throat running ball club with fist and goal situations???? Unbelievable at times...Unbelievable almost every time! Shoot the field itself is shrunk down to 19 yds or less of depth when the ball is inside the +10...those diemensions do not favor an offense in the passing game...it favors the defense.... |

Re: running gameI have no idea why Deangelo didn't touch the ball in the red-zone. I can honestly say that playcalling cost us this game, and possibly our season. |

Re: running gameIt is unfathomable to me how your star running back on a running team is averaging over 9 yards a carry and we refuse to give him the ball. What ever happened to playing to the guy with the hot hand? Ive only been able to point so much of the blame on the coaching staff until this point but I truly think that lost us the game. There is a difference between trying to keep smitty and moose happy and doing what we did last night. They are both team players and would rather take a win any day. |

Re: running gameWell with eight in the box give it to D WIll with 9 sure why not, but with freaking ten in the box and SS one on one yeah I am throwing the ball. Its science.

Re: running gameWe had 10 in the box, Ricky Williams scored from the 50 or something. I know that it is hard to run on 8 or more in the box, but we are a running team, and I have difficulties with not atleast trying something...even a fake to the middle pitch outside. Worked for them. Also, about J. Stewart, couldn't agree more. He is a great back outside of the tackles. He needs space to make people miss. |
