Beason has an MCL sprain.....

Profootballtalk says that Beason has a sprained MCL but what degree the sprain is hasn't been released yet. Seems like Beason won't be playing the rest of the preseason. I would rather not have our star players being susceptible to injuries.

Grade I sprain means a few days and Grade II means a few weeks, and since the home opener is three weeks away; Beason should be fine for the season opener.

He was in a couple plays after he hurt it, before he left, so hopefully thats a good sign that it's not to severe. Connor is a capable backup but Beason is the leader of this Defense and is irreplaceable.
