first, let me admit that I missed the entire 3rd quarter, but I saw both first teams Moore and McClown so if I am wrong on somthing let me know.

Offense:  The last two weeks our offense has not appeared up to the challenge, but you got to remember that there is no game prep for these games.  I think the play book is about as vanilla as it can get because we play both these guys in the regular season. First team did pretty well considering they blitzed the h*ll out of us.
Defense: The defense has not looked great, but it is getting better.  I think next week is going to show up what our defense will look like with some prep on the opposing team.  I don't think anyone is going to disagree that we need a solid DT to play alongside Lewis.  The guys up front are getting handled
Williams: Anyone still want to argue that AP is a better RB?  Did you see the league he was in with last year as far as stats?  The Ronnie Brown and O.J. Simpson.
Delhomme: Say what you will about him, but he is the leader of this team.  His pocket awarness has increased and he is making plays without Smitty or Moose on the field.  No INT in two weeks is a good sign.
Turnovers: We went from 5 Turnovers the first week to 1 this past week.  Special teams better get its act together because they accounted for the only T/O this week.
Tackling: I noticed that we seem to be having a problem with tackling but can you blame them.  Last week they were rusty, and this past week it was raining like h*ll.  My guess is that the defense was being a little careful due to the conditions and the game meaning nothing.  If I were playing that night, I would have let a guy gain a couple of extra yards, if it meant not getting injured.  I mean why would I want to risk injury in a game that means nothing.  Now in the regular season....thats a different monster.
Peppers: Lets just say that he better have a record year or I'll be the first in line to run Peppers out of town.

Good game, but I think the real test and show of what we got is gonna be sat. night.  Any thoughts?
