Re: For the Foxy haTersI think what he is saying is that this team has lost focus which results in penalties for not being ready on game day. A team being prepared and focused for a game IS the responsibility of the head coach. A team that has lost confidence in their coach is going to lose focus. As for injuries, the majority of key injuries for us have occured on the defensive side of the ball, still the defense has played pretty well so I could not blame injuries on the reason for bad play calling or losing overall. The Saints have been without Darren Sharper (early in the season), Jabari Greer, Tracy Porter, Reggie Bush, Lance Moore, and Scott Fujita that I know of so clearly, EVERYONE faces injuries. Please can we stop bringing up the past to support John Fox unless you can tell me how a 12-4 record last season can help this team win games this season, its not a justified argument. The team is falling apart and he is losing control. Everyone can continue to make excuses for him and if he stays im sure we will be having this same discussion next year. But sometimes there is a need for change just for the sake of change, like it or not. |

Re: For the Foxy haTersAll those injuries to the defense and they're still playing solid? What's the offense's excuse? |

Re: For the Foxy haTersDude please you and McGribble both need to leave the Meth alone. First and foremost 92 yards in penalties are symptomatic of poor coaching no matter how you spin it. If it was 32 yards even 52 yards we could say its all the players fault. True, Fox isnt the one on the field screwing up but he has to take FULL responsibility for fielding such a poorly disciplined team. They were mentally unprepared and obviously thats his job! Let me ask you this "homie" how many times yesterday did Matt Moore come close to getting delay of game because the play isnt coming in quick enough? Oh yeah I know its all Davidsons fault! Indianapolis Colts: Bob Sanders (Pro Bowl Safety)on IR, Marlon Jackson (starting CB) IR, Jim Sorgi (backup QB {not that he's ever gonna play}) IR, also currently out with injuries Anthony Gonzalez (TE) and Adam Vinatieri (Pro Bowl Kicker) New Orleans Saints: Jammal Brown (Pro Bowl Offensive Tackle) IR, Heath Evans (Starting FB) IR, Leigh Torrence (DB who's season ending injury prompted the Saints to bring back DB MIke McKenzie) additionally Scott Fujita (Starting LB) out, and Jabari Greer (Starting CB) out. Do your homework "homie"...before you come at me sideways like that! As for our un-Special Teams thats once again the Head Coach and GMs job to fix, which was just as sorry last year as they are this year! They hired Danny Crossman and THEY made the decisions on who to cut and keep not this mythical BRASS you speak of. Fox and Hurney are the brass dude!!!! And finally we went 12-4 back in 1996 (might I add against a much tougher schedule). Last year we had the AFC West (Chiefs, Raiders, Broncos, Chargers) and played badly against a dreadful Oakland in which Jake threw multiple picks, also the NFC North (Lions, Bears, Packers, Vikes) and lost to a Favre-less Viking team in which Jake stunk it up as well! Thats the problem with Fox lately he's only successful against soft schedules. We dont have time to wait around for the next soft schedule...HOMIE!!! |
