For the Foxy haTersHave ya'll noticed how some other teams around the nfl have floundered due to having a few key members out of their line-up? I mean, ryan goes down in atl and they can't win. Tenn had some key injuries and shuffling at qb and are eliminated from post season. Tampa has new qb shuffling and can't win, and the list goes on. So for those that are saying Foxy is done, consider that injuries CAN AND WILL affect the outcome of a season very easily. Think about it...T Davis, Kemo, Goodson, Godfrey, Gross, Leonard, Tyler, C. Harris, L. Johnson. Plus Stewart, pep and Hoover banged up every week, Brayton, and Munnerlyn out for a few games. The D has been shuffled 13 out of 13 games. The only fault Foxy has this year is leaving Jake at qb and that's because as we are seeing, there is not a better option till next year in the draft/FA hopefully. Moore is not the answer unfortunately. I say let him ride next year and if we dont make the post season with a healthy team, replace him with Shannahan. |

Re: For the Foxy haTersI agree with this for the most part. I think the more Moore plays the better he will get. I just think he has been put in a bad situation. He is throwing high and that it normally an indication of nerves. But he has also been throwing some good balls...

Re: For the Foxy haTersThe problem with our team this year has been the offense, which isn't Fox's expertise. He and Meeks have our defense playing lights out for what we are putting on the field. I don't think there is another defense out there with as many guys on IR as we have.

Re: For the Foxy haTersBoth of you guys have lost touch with reality...clearly!!!
I suppose the super conservative play calling (especially when our season is already lost), the disproportionate run/pass ratio when by his own declaration we are a ground oriented offense are all a mirage. Not to mention the horrid special teams, the painfully obvious lack of in game adjustments and overall poor decision making. For example yesterday the decision to attempt a 53 yard field goal on 4th and 3. To go for it here leaves you no worse off if you dont make it than attepting a field goal whether you make it or not. The thing is Fox has clearly lost the focus of his team, look no further then the 92 yds in penalties yesterday and it can only stand to get worse under his direction. And if you believe Jake wouldnt have thrown AT LEAST 4 more picks in the past 2 games youve gotta be comatose! Injuries can be used as an excuse but how legit is it really. The Saints and Colts have starters on IR too and we can see how they have overcome them. How many of our losses can be pinned on injuries...seriously??? Maybe 1. The rest are due to subpar playcalling and turnovers...POINT BLANK! NO WAY AROUND IT! Am I a Foxy hater...NO! I respect his accomplishments here and appreciate what he has done as our HC, but he needs a change of scenery and so do we! |

Re: For the Foxy haTersI haven't been an "anti-Fox" fan, but yesterday's penalties can't all be blamed on crowd noise or weather. He's the head coach and the buck stops with him. For all of those who screamed for Moore, looks like Foxy had a reason for not playing him. |

Re: For the Foxy haTersSo illegal procedures and jumping offsides is the coach's fault? NOT. Moose's stupid azz walked over to DJ and told him something, got the penalty, but that's Fox's fault-comatose thinking right there homie. And what major injuries have the Colts and Saints had? manning? Clark? What about the saints-brees? colston? I don't think so. The special teams is a problem but again when you dont have depth and playing with fill ins and the brass didn't want to sign mark jones back you gonna have issues. I guess the 12-4 first round bye, best mark in history last season with a worthless qb and ONLY 2 pro-bowlers was lack of coaching and just nothing right? Pahh-whatev (Eyes rolling) |
