Moore and the DRAFT...what to do what to do.....I will first say that I agree that one game should not be a deciding factor on a player but considering he has had to sit on his butt and watch a pathetic DelHomme start in front of him,seemingly no matter how bad Jake would play and also considering I cant believe Moore just up and played this well and didnt show this in practice as well,which pisses me off even more...I think Moore should be considered the starter both for the rest of the season and going into and thru training camp...its his to lose,he deserves his chance...so besides that,I think we do whatever w can do to go after a big time WR to help out SS...maybe look at DT and I think we need to go after a punt and kick return specialist just to help with field position(capt aint even close to a return guy)...in the latter rounds we go after the best possible QB remaining to backup Moore but try and get a guy that if Moore isnt the man this guy could be...

Re: Moore and the DRAFT...what to do what to do.....Moore looked Good at times and lost at times but over all he was just what we needed on National TV. I have always had hope with Jake as the stater since he brought back from 21 points down in his first game. It is hard to belive that someone can get as bad as he has got so fast. He has Forced throws and made some dumb decisions. New Qb coach is something Else. He may be a Head Coach somewhere next year, I am hoping anyway. We need a QB bad, a Brees or Payton Type.I would wait until the end of the Season on that shirt. |

Re: Moore and the DRAFT...what to do what to do.....Moore looked good. He got more confidant as the game went on. I hope he is the next Manning, that being said I think we have to take a QB in the next draft. As high up as we can get one. Hopefully trade for a first round pick and take one. |

Re: Moore and the DRAFT...what to do what to do.....i agree with everything the OP said. i dont think QB is our biggest concern anymore. has anyone else noticed the offense always starts out slow with moore under center? then after a few drives he calms down and starts playing some pretty solid football? give the kid time. he is essentially a rookie not even half way through his first season starting. im telling you guys, this kid has something.

Re: Moore and the DRAFT...what to do what to do.....I say still draft a qb. I was impressed with Moore but lets not let our emotions get to high. I think we need a qb, and a real wr and another returner. We also need either sighn Peppers long term or trade him, hopefully we can sighn him. I don't think we need much I feel this is a superbowl team that could have won it last year and be in the hunt this year. |

Re: Moore and the DRAFT...what to do what to do.....We can draft a QB in 3rd or 4th round...we need a WR, ST return man, Big strong Run stopper in the middle and let Peppers take a hike. He's just not there consistenly...free up some of that money and go shopping, Draft or FA. |
