Re: Looks like 8-8while this is all true, there is no cap next year so its not a big deal if we have to franchise him again. i personally think he signs that contract early this offseason. |

Re: Looks like 8-8I hope he does because we need to keep him here, but we don't need to break our backs anymore to do so. Even if there is an uncapped year we might end up having to choose rather we want to franchise him or D-Will because I have heard nothing of any contract talks with him either. |

Re: Looks like 8-8Rather we like it or not we're going to have to eventually choose between the two, and that will be a very sad day! |

Re: Looks like 8-8Even if we do finish 8-8, it wasn't enough to get us in the playoffs. Where I'm sitting that still reeks of failure, especially with the potential we have displayed the past few weeks. There's no doubt that we are the best non playoff team in the league and that certainly has to have an effect on the guys on this team that have played their tails off all season! Does anyone believe this lockerroom is 100% behind Fox returning next season? I know there have been a few guys who have been vocal on the return of Fox and it has been positive, but you have to think there are guys on this team that realize Fox cost this ballclub an opportunity to return to the SuperBowl. We will probably never know, but I do find it mildly interesting that when Damione Lewis was asked, although he supported Fox he did say he would like to play for a guy like Cowher. It makes you wonder. But with that said I trust our schedule will be slightly softer next season and according to past history we should be playoff bound. The question remains can Fox get us back to the Big Show, and if so can he win it this time? |
