Thoughts on fox and FA ideas

fox has said 2 or 3 times hes lucky to have a job. he wants to be here, and richardson likes stability. they may get an extension they may not. either way its not realy lame duck its cash management hopefully to make a run at some free agents, i know most of you would be against it and maybe i am too but i pose the ??? how about 1 year with T O he did not destroy the bills and maybe he could be a win now type of addition at wideout until we get one via draft. also another scenario. if peppers walks or gets tagged and traded. osi umeniyora is a free agent so is richard seymore and anquan boldin, as well as josh cribbs (browns returner) i would love to see our extra money from not paying peppers 20 million whether we free up that money by trading him or signing him long term. these are who i wanna see them taget along with maybe T O . i would rather have Boldin though or both, why not shoot for he moon. most of our core players are under contract and by the way stewart still has 3 years on his contract, williams aint leavin him he will re sign he isnt greedy and hes gettin his right here fellas.

Re: Thoughts on fox and FA ideas

What bearing does Fox's contract have on going after FA's? The coaches contract does not play into the cap limit...? I think this team stays with their approach of keeping players and not over paying for FA's OR overpaying for their own (JP). They have been good at that for the most part they just need to draft better in the later rounds of the draft.

Re: Thoughts on fox and FA ideas

Support the idea of finding a FA WR to help...just not TO...for two reasons...TO cannot out run Father-time any better than can Moose and/or TO is an aging 1/2 step slower---stepping out of his prime WR---I'd like to see the Panthers find more of a burner...also, at the end of the day...IMO there is more of a probabliity that TO would be more a divider rather than a uniter in the lockerroom...so like like the idea of finding a WR, but I would have to pass on TO....

Re: Thoughts on fox and FA ideas

i would love to see them really try to steal cribbs away with a lucrative offer, or even anquan boldin. i just want them to make one just one big splash with either of these two. secondly the RAIDERS are STUPID period. they cannot control what richard seymore does. he does not have to sign a contract wih them period. he is great against the run. something we need. after that if all our injured recover fully we have major/quality depth everywhere except wide receiver. if we keep peppers hopefully with a long term deal, is everyone open to trading away another first rounder for a wideout or big time defensive tackle or corner.i say corner because after the starters the backups are still unproven late round picks.
