USA Today Power Ranking Comment..."Apparently Matt Moore was in the bullpen far too long." And we were ranked 19th in the power rankings. There was also a comment about the Bucs that said, "Does Bill Cowher really want to board this ship?" And they had San Diego ranked #1 because of the Colts' loss. Thoughts on any of these? I'm tired of discussing Smitty's arm and his "replacement", what we're doing in April's draft, or whether Fox will leave or get canned. |

Re: USA Today Power Ranking Comment...Carolina is the 2nd best team in the NFC right now, Philadelphia is ahead of us, but I think we could beat them with Moore and the Defense playing how they are now

Re: USA Today Power Ranking Comment...So we're playing the NFC West and AFC North next season? That means another battle with the Cardinals and a meeting with Blitzburg. Maybe Warner will break his hip, Fitzgerald will suffer the Madden Curse a year late, Boldin will become a star for the Panthers, and Polamalu will be out most of next season too. Just kidding. We can beat any team on any day if we allow ourselves to play OUR game. |

Re: USA Today Power Ranking Comment...I agree that we have a chance to easily go 11-5 or 10-6. With our running game, a healthy defense and o-line, and another weapon at WR we could be unstoppable. Along with the NFC West and AFC North we will play Giants/Bears, or GB,Dallas/Eagles depending on if we end up 2nd or 3rd in the division this year. AFC looks to be pretty tough next year with the exception of the Browns, but the west of course has the Rams and Seahawks.

Re: USA Today Power Ranking Comment...the comments about Moore being held in the bullpen to long...that opinion seems obvious and is shared by many, many people---even folks out here in Neb.

Re: USA Today Power Ranking Comment...Morris has sealed up his job for next season by beating the Saints (read: Cowher isn't going there).

Re: USA Today Power Ranking Comment...Boldin's a FA after this season isn't he? Or is he a RFA? I know the guy wants out of AZ regardless. But I'm not sure we have the juice (compensation) to go get him if it's a trade issue. They'd want a 1st or two 2nds for him. And does he FIT our system? Of course the system can change a bit to compensate for new players, but would he fit? He wants to be a #1 WR. We've got one of those with Smitty, but would having two #1s be a bad thing? Something to think about.
