Carolina is the 2nd best team in the NFC right now, Philadelphia is ahead of us, but I think we could beat them with Moore and the Defense playing how they are now

I am so upset we are not in the running for the playoffs this year, it will suck to wait months till the next season-I think if we can get a Dominant #2 receiver via trade maybe a Boldin? We need to keep stewie and d-will and sutton-I think we can be a dominant team, I just heard the schedule-we play seattle, Dallas, St Louis, Cleveland-on the road next season and our home schedule is a little tougher but noy my much, we can go 10-6 11-5 next season easily

I agree that we have a chance to easily go 11-5 or 10-6.  With our running game, a healthy defense and o-line, and another weapon at WR we could be unstoppable. Along with the NFC West and AFC North we will play Giants/Bears, or GB,Dallas/Eagles depending on if we end up 2nd or 3rd in the division this year.  AFC looks to be pretty tough next year with the exception of the Browns, but the west of course has the Rams and Seahawks. 

Anyone else notice that the Card vs. Panthers is becoming a pretty common heated battle between the two teams, since last year

Morris has sealed up his job for next season by beating the Saints (read: Cowher isn't going there).

Also, I hope an organization wouldn't be stupid enough to can a brand new coach with a brand new qb, even though it is the bucs.

And as far as us being the second best team in the NFC, are you kidding me???

Sure, we've taken long strides, but we played a mightily struggling Minnesota team and a very, very, very overrated Giants team and now we're the second best?

We're damn good and I'd imagine that we could keep with most of the teams, but I haven't seen anything that says we're THAT good yet.  Maybe next year when we're healthy and hopefully get some new weapons (I'd be down with trading for boldin).
