I said in another post I think no guarantee might cause Fox to look elsewhere.  If he finds a better guarantee he might take it and Richardson is off the hook for his 2010 salary of 6 million.  If you fire him straight out you have to pay him 6 million.  My question is if a coach, any coach is under contract for the 2011 season and there is no season do coaches get paid?  This would also impact the Fox situation.  Richardson might think Fox is okay but replaceable so if he stays fine if he goes no problem.  Maybe he sees Meeks as able to step right in as a head coach?  Meeks seems to have the defense playing well.
