Re: Fairweather FakersYou must not have watched the rest of that episode. By the end he was asking Brady what wine to bring to his house and what Gisele liked as a gift. |

Re: Fairweather FakersYou guys sound like a bunch of traitors/fairweather fans. If you were fans once you will always be fans unless something distasteful happens then I can understand. I mean if you live in Eastern Carolina and Raleigh gets a team you gonna all of a sudden hate the Panthers????? H*ll no! I mean you can root for one over the other, but that does not mean you have to hate the Panthers now. I am a huge hometown type of guy, but even if the NFL came to Chapel Hill itself I would still watch and probably root for the Panthers maybe not over the new Chapel Hill team but I would still follow them. |

Re: Fairweather FakersI was a Giants fan until the preseason of 95. In 94 I pulled for the Panthers but was raised on the G men. The Panthers played the Giants in preseason and before that game I realized that I had to make a choice. Re: Fairweather FakersJust because you root for more than one team, doesn't make you a fake fan.

Re: Fairweather FakersDon't worry, you weren't alone. I was in St. Pete for a few months earlier this year for work and I'll be back down there next summer, so don't feel alone. I felt alone when I was there, and everyday on the way home from work, I'd drive by a butt pirates fan shop and I'd want to burn it down. Also, I think you can throw cowgirls fans on the list of fans to bash. |
