UFL better served by playing in the springOf all the start up football leagues that have given it a go over the years the USFL had the longest run (if my recollection serves me they lasted 3 perhaps 4 yrs) They played their ballgames in the spring thur July---that time frame allowed and/or helped the football junkie's and purests to survive a long offseason away from football with a football fix until the NFL bigboys started traing camps again...this served the USFL very well---I believe the UFL is not only missing the boat, but has a huge hole in the boat by trying to play their ball games in the fall...we have HS, College and NFL FB going on...who is going to watch the UFL...

Re: UFL better served by playing in the springI can't think of a decent reason to watch the UFL. Unless you want to watch what is basically an extended preseason.

Re: UFL better served by playing in the springWell their timing could not be better if the NFL fails to come to another agreement soon it will be the only football we have and we will be loving no matter when they play their games. |

Re: UFL better served by playing in the springI was thinking about that! I hope it doesn't come down to a strike, but hell you never know. |
