Re: Sit down with Tim TebowI don't think we have a place for him. I don't think he is a ryan leaf, Tebow has great character and is a true leader. He intrigues me as a fullback mostly who could actually run a little as well as block. He is a football player but as a probable tight end/hybrid kind of player which I don't think we need right now. |

Re: Sit down with Tim TebowI could see how he has the physical tools to be something like that, but he's never taken a snap at either TE or FB which makes him purely a project no matter which way you cut it. Also, last time I checked, being a leader doesn't necessarily get the ball into a receivers hands (see: Jake Delhomme since AZ playoff game). |

Re: Sit down with Tim Teboweither way if u can get him get him hes worth a shot. definately worth more of a shot than kolbert, eric shelton, jarrett, and the long list of other second round duds. our best second round picks in the last 5 years has been richard marshall and ryan kalil. after those two u name some. dont worry ill wait. hes like buying a scratch off lottery ticket if he falls that far to us. why not? even if he winds up brad hoovers replacement in 3 years. still a nice investment he says hes willing to try another position if he does not work out at qb. |

Re: Sit down with Tim TebowI follow UNC and the ACC in all sports so some will argue I probably dont know much about college football...lol...but I think I know a little, and I think the thing is we have more glaring needs(maybe 2 WR's,pr/kr,DL help) that we need to fill first and then if he falls to like the 5th or 6th round which I dont hink would happen then yeah take a chance...I mean maybe I dont know much about college football compared to some of you but I do know the SEC is considered the best football conference and that is who he has won all those games against so....

Re: Sit down with Tim TebowRunning the spread is a concern look at Alex Smith he was in Urban Meyers offense and was the first overall pick, he has been a disappointment. Tebow is a more questionable prospect than Smith, not worse necessarily but definitely more questions. Maybe because of Smith's struggles but he is still questionable. Love his toughness, heart, leadership but what will he play. |

Re: Sit down with Tim TebowThat is all I needed to know. And I don't think that Tebow is even worth a late draft pick. There's QB's out there that will probably go undrafted and are better pro-prospects than Tebow is. |
