Re: panthers dont plan on keeping peppers..it makes me so mad to hear that they haven't contacted him at all, I wonder who they have contacted in terms of contracts because if they haven't talked to peppers it makes me wonder if there going to talk to Thomas Davis who they would be stupid to let go of as well. The whole situation is so aggravating, this team really seems like JR is losing his sanity. I know it may not be that bad but it really seems like it. He has a lame duck coach, no talks with peppers, his two sons leave the team, no word from anyone inside the organization. WHAT IS GOING ON!?!?! |

Re: panthers dont plan on keeping peppers..Maybe JR knows that there IS going to be a lockout in 2011 despite it just being rumored. He's knows what is going on, and a lot of fingers point to him being at least 99% confident that no one is playing in 2011 so he's being a shrewd businessman and making it so that he won't have to pay anyone in 2011. |

Re: panthers dont plan on keeping peppers..If that's the case why wouldn't they at least tag Peppers again this year?? I know it's 20 mil, but with there not being a cap it won't kill us like it did last year |

Re: panthers dont plan on keeping peppers..Just because they have not said anything about keeping peppers doesn't mean they are not doing things behind the scenes. They may be shopping him to see if any teams would be willing to give up a 1st for him if they tag him and trade him. At this point I think that would be best for both of us. No reason a team wouldn't be willing to give up at least a 2nd and 4th for him, IF we can't get a first rounder. |
