Time for the young guys.....As for right now I don't think Peppers leaving is a big deal; I have seen enough out of Brown, Taylor and Johnson to have faith in them. Carolina has a great system in place right now and give them another year and I believe they will be able to execute it better.

Re: Time for the young guys.....I'm not gonna say E.Brown will do better than Pep(I wont say he won't either)....but EB will be a more than satisfactory replacement for JP...and I think he plays with more heart than peppers....lets concentrate our focus and our money on OFFENSE and we will be more than JUST a playoff team...possibly a contender...win the SB and it would basically be spitting in JP's face. |

Re: Time for the young guys.....Don't be so quick to give the job to eb... I think Charles Johnson could be a superstar in the making |

Re: Time for the young guys.....peace out pep. thanks for bein greedy. but anyway they keep sayin we are letting him walk with absolutely zero compensation but if i am not mistaken dont we get like a 2nd or 3rd round compensatory pick next year providing there is no lockout. might not be much but 3rd round picks get used in trades to move up every year. 2nds are even better. anyone have any info??? |

Re: Time for the young guys.....Everything happens for a reason. This is a chance for Johnson and Brown to shine and a perfect time for Brayton to resurrect his career. We gon be ok ya'll, cheer up! I'm happy about the decision. At what point do you stick to your original plan to bring a ring to Charlotte? That plan does not include paying guys who don't want to be here and who have a slack attitude towards the team. Hey we made the long term offer several times before and he didn't want it. He will make another team very happy and they can deal with his part time status. |

Re: Time for the young guys.....Am all for the process of young guns stepping up...they will need to for certain. But I also beleive it can be a good thing for young guys to have hard working vet role-models to contiune to learn the ropes from...the club has one, assuming they resign #96 TB and surely they will...but why not have two...man I would love to see the passion and energy of Kyle VandenBosch formerly a T. Titan doing his thing in a Panther uni...true he is nearing the end of his career-but if he is able to squezze out another 1-2 quality yr he is the type of 110mph player that rubs off a great work ethic and love of the game onto younger players (plus IMO the club is usually better when they have a former N DE on the roster...just because) |
