Possible Free Agent DE

updated list of FA http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d … nfirm=true

looking thru the list and there isnt much out there if we want to add a veteran to shore up the position. the only names that excite me at all are

Adewale Ogunleye from the Bears
Aaron Kampman from the Packers, listed as OLB in their 34
Jarvis Green from the Patriots
Kyle Vanden Bosch from the Titans

what do you guys think?

Re: Possible Free Agent DE

I think Aaron Kampman would fit in here really nicely.  I like Vanden Bosch's heart and motor as well.

Re: Possible Free Agent DE

I'm on the Kampman bandwagon.

Re: Possible Free Agent DE

Kampman's a good player, and strong leader off the field too. He'd be good for the Panthers' image (no that they really need that anyway). But it's always good to have a positive role model on your team. Did you know he's taking classes at Dallas Theological Seminary to be a pastor after he retires? If you're Christian or not, you've got to admit that he's got strong character and would be good for this team.

Isn't Brayton a hardcore Christian?  Maybe that could attract Kampman to our squad.  Just think, they could be Crusaders on a mission from God to vanquish the sinful ways of opposing offensive tackles as they make their way to enlighten opposing quarterbacks of the sacrifices Jesus made.

Hey danger I'd be careful poking at Jesus homie-haha (seriously). Yes Brayton is a Christian (not sure what's hardcore about it) and if we got Kampman our D would kick the HOLY crap out of opposing Os this year.
