Here are five things to watch in Saturday night's game...
1. The passing game. The Panthers are completing just 42 percent of their passes and haven’t looking impressive moving the ball through the air. Matt Moore and the rest of the starters are expected to play into the third quarter against Tennessee, their most extensive playing time of the preseason. So this is a good chance for the team to get some momentum heading into the regular season.
2. Return game. It was a disaster last week as the Panthers turned the ball over three times on punt returns with Armanti Edwards and Kenny Moore each fumbling. Captain Munnerlyn also bobbled a punt, but regained control. On kickoff returns, Mike Goodson struggled with two poor decisions. This unit has a ways to go and the Panthers need to find answers.
